New Spring/Summer dates TBC
4 x Monday evenings, 6-8pm

The iPad offers artists a wide range of exciting tools and techniques which can enrich your art practice. Liz Gascoigne has been using the iPad for over 5 years, as a regular part of her art practice. In this four week course Liz will introduce artists in how to use the iPad as a versatile new media. Participants will need to bring their own iPad (preferably an iPad 2 or more recent) and will become proficient in using the Brushes App (and be introduced to other Apps). The course will cover basic skills and techniques through a series of short art projects and participants will be encouraged to practice on the iPad at home between the classes.

Week 1 – Introduction, demonstration – first steps using Brushes App.

Week 2 – Sketch book for drawing, painting and design – Brushes App skills-sharing and exercises.

Week 3 – Gathering imagery and textures, collages and merging photos and texts.

Week 4 – Layering, saving and printing options; other Art Apps.

The class is limited to a maximum number of 8 participants in order to ensure quality tutor time.

Cost: £40 (£35 for OVADA Associates) payable in advance.
